DESCRIPTION

H&D offers this seal from one of 2 high quality manufacturers. Our primary offering is the Hallite T606 style which is an asymmetrical piston u-seal that provides superb sealing performance and very long service life. The asymmetrical design positions the seal securely in the housing to prevent twisting, assuring low leakage performance. The outer dynamic lip is shorter and more robust to provide improved sealing over conventional U-seals.

Manufactured in Hallite’s high performance polyurethane Hythane 181, this seal provides several benefits: flexibility for easy installation, excellent wear resistance, high resistance to extrusion, robust design and a wide temperature range. This seal offers outstanding resistance to wear and tear and features very low compression set. Capable of withstanding pressures up to 6,000 PSI, it is an excellent choice for those tough applications with high pressures where other seals fail.

Our secondary offering for this seal is the Disogrin PI style. Made from premium 92A urethane, this seal offers many of the same benefits of the Hallite T606. This seal is of a more rigid structure than the Hallite T606 so installation may be a bit more difficult.
