DESCRIPTION

The S-N profile is a metric symmetrical lip seal for use in either rod or piston sealing applications. Manufactured in Nitrile, the flexible lip design reacts to low pressure and provides an extremely smooth, steady movement with less break away force required because of the inherent low friction.

The S-N design utilizes a beveled lip, ideal for wiping fluid film. The S-N is available from a variety of rubber compounds to cover a wide range of applications. The S-N u-cup is designed for pneumatic and low to medium pressure hydraulic applications. The pressure range of this seal may be extended by the utilization of supporting back up rings.

Some sizes are also available in Fluorocarbon for resistance to a wide range of chemical media and high temperatures up to 400F
