DESCRIPTION

Our MWRT is a carbon or glass/moly- filled PTFE metric wear ring that has the ability to support side loads and eliminate ‘stick slip’ between moving parts in pneumatic or light duty hydraulic service. The range of sizes we typically offer are more commonly installed on the outboard ends of a piston to catch metal particles to protect the seal area.

This material is compatible with hydraulic mineral oil, lubricating oil, water based and synthetic fire resistant fluids and lubricating grease. Although the material is rated at 390°F, the recommended maximum temperature for bearing applications is 140°F.

The rings are typically split for easy installation on pistons, and grooved on the OD to allow bypass of hydraulic pressure. The standard MWRT thicknesses are 2.5mm and 4mme can provide in any thickness either split or solid if needed. Please contact H&D if you don't see the size you need.

For solid ring, add G15 to end of part number.
