DESCRIPTION

The MUH-R-2 seal is a metric compact single-acting rod seal designed for radially limited housings. Designed for standardized housings, amongst others, according to ISO 5597.

The compact design has very high compression so it exhibits very good static and dynamic tightness. This high compression allows for a higher surface roughness in the groove base than other similar rod seals.

This seal features a twin-lip design offering lower friction, improved sealing, primary lip protection and increased seal stability.
