DESCRIPTION

The MRT320 is the Simrit KI 320, which is a metric single-acting compact rod seal with an integrated backup ring, additional support and sealing edge, components for axial fixing in the housing and press fit on the outer diameter. This seal can withstand higher pressures and larger extrusion gaps. Dimensions are for standardized housings, amongst others, according to ISO 5597.

The compact design has very high compression so it exhibits very good static and dynamic tightness. This high compression allows for a higher surface roughness in the groove base than other similar rod seals.

This seal features a twin-lip design offering lower friction, improved sealing, primary lip protection and increased seal stability. The secondary lip also prevents the ingress of dirt to a large degree.

This seal has low pump-back capability, so should be used in combination with a single-acting wiper.
