DESCRIPTION

The MPRW is a double-lip polyurethane wiper with an extra lip on the wiper base as well as an inward facing sealing lip.

The wiper lip is designed to reliably scrape off the dirt but leaves a residual oil film on the rod, which is required for correct operation. The radial squeeze is sufficient to remove particles, dust and water.

The wiping lip facing inwards traps fluid that bypasses the main seal from leaving the system, and also functions as a seal in low pressure systems. The static seal is achieved by a tight radial fit between the wiper body and the groove.

The extra external lip on the wiper base seats firmly against the housing face to prevent ingress of contaminants from entering around the outside of the wiper.
