DESCRIPTION

Manufactured by Hunger Hydraulics®, the OBVD metric static seal reliably prevents O-ring extrusion by means of highly extrusion-resistant back-up rings. The nitrile o-ring, which is permanently affixed to the polyurethane back-up ring, compensates for design clearances and tube breathing.

These composite static seals are used for standard O-ring grooves with no modification to the groove necessary.

The OBVD 2AX version is suitable for pressurization on both sides, e.g. as a static seal between piston and rod. These are denoted by the -2AX at the end of the part number.
