DESCRIPTION

The UH-P style polypack is a polyester seal that is pre-loaded with a Nitrile or Fluorocarbon o-ring giving positive lip contact at low pressure and vacuum conditions. This seal provides positive lip sealing at all pressures and stability to the lips resisting collapse under severe load changes and high cycle rates.

The shell is molded in polyester to provide greater extrusion resistance and fluid compatibility than polyurethane. For temperatures above 250F or where standard Nitrile is not chemically compatible, please request a Fluorocarbon energizer.

The UH-P seals are available in 4 styles: Standard (straight lip – the height and cross-section are the same) Standard B-Lip (beveled lip – the height and cross-section are the same) Deep (straight lip – the height is greater than the cross-section) Deep B-Lip (beveled lip – the height is greater than the cross-section)

Most sizes are available with either a straight lip or beveled lip. Beveled lip is denoted with a B at the end of the part number. See Part Number Definition below.
