DESCRIPTION

The UH-PU style polypack is molded from ultra tough urethane for severe service conditions. It features higher tensile strength and modulus for extrusion resistance. This seal is used in high energy services such as rock drills and shock absorbing devices where high internal heat is generated.

The UH-PU seals are available in 4 styles: Standard (straight lip – the height and cross-section are the same) Standard B-Lip (beveled lip – the height and cross-section are the same) Deep (straight lip – the height is greater than the cross-section) Deep B-Lip (beveled lip – the height is greater than the cross-section)

Most sizes are available with either a straight lip or beveled lip. Beveled lip is denoted with a B at the end of the part number. See Part Number Definition below.

NOTE: These parts will no longer be available once the current stock has been depleted. Suggested alternates for the U-PU seal are –RU9 (rod u-cup), U-P (polyester polypack), or U-V (fluorocarbon polypack). Please consult with the H&D technical group for assistance.
