DESCRIPTION

This seal is the Hallite T511. The square profile, straight-lip, loaded polypack is a U-cup utilizing a polyurethane shell energized by a highly resilient O-ring. At zero or low pressure the O-ring helps to increase the sealing force preventing any bypass. As the system pressure rises the sealing force increases and the O-ring ensures complete lip actuation under most conditions.

This seal is ideally suited for single-acting piston applications but they can be used back-to-back in double-acting piston applications when installed in separate grooves on the piston.
