DESCRIPTION

The RB-1profile is an asymmetrical design rod u-seal which offers superb sealing performance as either a primary or secondary sealing element. The asymmetrical design positions the RB-1 securely in the housing, assuring excellent sealing effect and prevents twisting. The RB-1 also employs a hard plastic ID back-up ring to reduce the possibility of extrusion.

Made from premium 92A urethane, the RB-1 offers superior abrasion and wear resistance ensuring maximum operating life. The extrusion resistant material and design are engineered to withstand high pressures (6,000 PSI), and utilizes a preloaded design to ensure effective sealing at low pressures. The nylon back-up ring is located in the heel of the DRUB profile and enhances extrusion protection.

For applications where you require higher pressure resistance and larger extrusion gaps, please use our RB-621 style (Hallite T621).
